The meeting of the National Commission for Family Apostolate of Sri Lanka was held on the 25th and 26th of April at the Kandy Monte Fano Retreat Centre.
This event organized by Rev. Fr. Gihan Fernando, the National Director of the Commission, and headed by Rt. Rev. Dr. Anton Ranjith Pillainayakam, the Bishop in charge of the commission.
The meeting included a special Mass, sharing of experiences and the general meeting.
Additionally, the PNI Pre-Marriage Form, used in the Diocese of Colombo, the Marriage Rectification Form prepared for the use of all dioceses in Sri Lanka was introduced. Also a sample Matrimonial Certificate was introduced for the use of all dioceses.
Approximately 40 people participated in this event, including diocesan directors and representatives from the other dioceses.
