The newly established St. Paul the 6th English Medium School in Vavuniya Rambaikulam, located in the Mannar Diocese, held the opening ceremony of its academic year on the 30th of January.
At this inaugural event, held under the leadership of the Principal, Rev. Fr. Arudkumaran, admission documents for new students and appointments for new teachers were handed over.
At this event, Rt. Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Fernando, the Bishop of the Mannar Diocese, and Mr. Sarath Chandra, the Vavuniya District Secretary, participated as Chief Guests. Rev. Fr. Christhunayagam, the Vicar-General of the Mannar Diocese, and Mr. Kamalakumar, the Dean of the National College of Education, Vavuniya, participated as Guests of Honour. Major General Manjula Kariyawasam, Commander of the 56th Brigade, graced the occasion as a Special Guest.
