A sacred relic of St. Anthony of Padua has been brought to St. Anthony’s Church, Passaiyoor, from the Dicastery for the Causes of Saints at Vatican City, at the request of the Bishop of the Diocese of Jaffna, Rt. Rev. Dr. Justin Gnanapragasam.
This holy relic was displayed for the veneration of the people on the 13th of February at Passaiyoor, under the guidance of the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Jero Selvanayagam.
This was followed by Holy Mass offered by the Bishop of Jaffna.
