Rt. Rev. Dr. Antonypillai Gnanapragasam, the Bishop of the Mannar Diocese, has officially assumed his duties, bringing with him a wave of leadership changes within the diocese.
As part of the recent appointments, Rev. Fr. Tamilnesan has been appointed as the new Vicar General, and Rev. Fr. Surendran Revel has been appointed as the Procurator General of the diocese.
Ordained in 1997, Rev. Fr. Tamilnesan has served in multiple parishes across the diocese.
A distinguished scholar, he has authored more than ten books and represented the Tamil community at various international conferences, making notable contributions to discussions on Tamil culture and faith.
