A three-day pilgrimage walk, organized by the faithful of the Mannar Diocese, took place from March 26 to 28, drawing thousands of participants on a profound spiritual journey.
The pilgrimage, led by Rev. Fr. Christhunayagam, the Vicar General, began at St. Sebastian’s Cathedral in Mannar and passed through several significant churches, including Periyakaddu, St. Anthony’s Shrine and Rambaikulam, St. Anthony’s Church.
The walk concluded at the Komarasankulam Kalvary Shrine, where a Holy Mass was held, presided over by Rt. Rev. Dr. Antonipillai Gnanapragasam, Bishop of the Mannar Diocese.
The pilgrimage covered a distance of 97 kilometers over the three days, with more than 5,000 devotees participating, walking in prayer and reflection, and deepening their faith throughout the journey.
