The inauguration ceremony of a soccer academy at St. Patrick’s College, Jaffna, organized by Rev. Fr. Thirumagan, the Rector of St. Patrick’s College, took place on June 29, 2024.
The event was graced by former cricket and football players of the college, Mr. and Mrs. Kingsly Sebasthiyampillai, who graced the occasion as chief guests. National football player Mr. Nitharsan and Patrician Sports Club Secretary Mr. Ranjith Devarajan also participated as special guests, adding to the event’s significance.
The soccer academy was funded by Mr. Prasantharajah, an alumnus of the college residing in London, whose generous contribution was instrumental in establishing the facility.
